Can this be installed in place of the CD Player that's currently in use at our facility?

Yes. Fit For Sound plugs right into most existing setups thanks to its industry-standard RCA outpus just like the ones used on most CD players. Pro-grade balanced XLR outputs are included for higher end installations. If you convert your CD library to iTunes, you can use all of your music with only Fit For Sound and your iPod.
